Jango Fett is a character in the Star Wars universe and is one of the supporting villains in the series. He is a Mandalorian bounty hunter and one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy. His race was wiped out by the Jedi Knights but he was one of the few that survived and still wore the armor. Aside from being a bounty hunter, he has also served as a bodyguard for Count Dooku and Palpatine.

He eventually disappeared from bounty hunting circles when he decided to raise his son Boba Fett because he wanted to see what life could have been like if he had been raised by a caring guardian. Jango Fett was eventually killed by the Jedi Mace Windu.
