Darth Vader is the main villain in the original Star Wars trilogy and he is easily one of the most iconic and well-known villains of all time. He is depicted as a fearsome cyborg who serves under Emperor Palpatine. He is shown to be wearing an all black suit, cape and helmet which serves as his breathing mask. Later in the films, it was revealed that he is the father of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. In his final act, he redeems himself by killing the evil emperor and saving his son and even sacrificing himself. In the prequel movies, it was shown that before Darth Vader wore his mask, he was Anakin Skywalker, a young boy who becomes a Jedi Knight who eventually falls to the dark side of the Force.
