Clone Troopers are the soldiers of the Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. They are named Clone Troopers because they were cloned from bounty hunter Jango Fett. They are the largest army ever assembled and after the Clone Wars they served in the Galactic Empire armed forces where they eventually became the Imperial Stormtroopers.
While all Clone Troopers look alike, there are also a number of specialized trooper units including the elite special forces unit. Some of these famous elite Clone Troopers include Commander Cody, Commander Fox and Commander Rex.
